ABSTRACT:
This project gives an appraisal of
public relations marketing techniques in Nigerian Agip Oil Company.
Its aim is to access the levels of
effectiveness and efficiency of the various public relations marketing techniques.
It aims at focusing on best performing and more productive marketing
techniques.
A hundred questionnaires were shared
among public relations and marketing agents in the Nigerian Agip Oil Company.
Interviews and surveys were also conducted.
Primary data was used in the analysis.
Tables and percentages were used as instruments in doing the analysis of data.
The recommendations were made as a guide
to the best possible expected results from the most performing public relations
and marketing strategies. It is also observed that there are rooms for
improvement in the existing techniques and to create new ones. Public relations
and marketing has a significant impact on the performance of Nigerian Agip Oil
Company. Also, there is a strong relationship between the public relations
marketing techniques and the performance of the Nigerian Agip Oil Company.
